Dr. Myriam Lanteigne

Originally from New Brunswick, I graduated from the Université de Moncton with a Bachelors in Biology in 2015. I then continued my education and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 and I have been with the Riverview Animal Health Centre ever since.

My passion lies in performing soft tissue surgery and providing emergency care. Additionally, I strive to continually enhance my skills in technical procedures such as endoscopy, ultrasound, and advanced soft tissue surgeries. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to advocate for my patients’ health and well-being. I take pride in helping owners ensure the best quality of life for their pets and nurturing the bond they share.

In my spare time, you can find me doing just about anything outdoors especially riding ATVs and fishing. I have a Yorkie mix called Leyla and a cat named Abigail (she was my first ever spay surgery). Additionally, and as a fun fact, I can play the violin and I love spicy food.
