Kelli Cormier

Practice Manager/Registered Veterinary Technician
I joined the team at Riverview in December of 2004, not long after I graduated from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College's Animal Health Technology Program. I love being a part of the team at RAH because of the dedication and compassion each team member at our hospital has. It is a busy practice and not knowing what is going to come through the door next, makes every day different and exciting. Helping animals is my passion, so it is not hard to come to work every day knowing you are making a difference in an animal's life. An area of the veterinary industry that interests me is orthopedic surgery. My first pet's name was Rease, she was a little feral kitten that only ever likes me. Fun fact about me, if I'm not at work, I'm camping with my family.

Rebecca Schofield Community Event

Riverview Animal Hospital helped last week to build the Rebecca Schofield All World Super Play Park. It was a huge community event with over 2, 583 volunteers that built a giant accessible playground for all of Greater Moncton's Children to enjoy. Rebecca Schofield is Riverview New Brunswick's international celebrity. In 2016, at 16 years old Rebecca became ill, what was thought to be the flu turn into a diagnosis of Brain Cancer. In the short time before her death in 2018, Rebecca started a global movement, by inspiring people around the world to simply be kind to one another. Her hashtag #beccatoldmeto is to this day still seen all over the world as people perform random acts of kindness. Her legacy lives on making the world a better place one act of kindness at a time. We were very proud to be able to do our small part in helping to build the playground. We know that Becca's legacy will carry on for years to come, and I know the team at RAH will think of her every time we see the smiles of children as they play on their new beautiful playground.
