Samantha Ward

From a very young age, I have always been very interested in the care of helping animals. In 2014, I took a cooperative education course in high school and loved what the job entailed. Two years later, I began working at Riverview Animal Health Centre as an assistant. In 2017, I took the Veterinary Technician course at Oulton College.

The aspect of my job that brings me the greatest joy is collaborating with an exceptional team and the satisfaction of knowing I played a role in caring for an animal in need. The uplifting atmosphere at the hospital is my favourite aspect of the workplace.

A fun tidbit about me is my love for the outdoors; I spend every summer at a local race track watching my dad race.
