Brittany Hickey

My inspiration to get into this field was my love for animals, and I wanted to be able to help them when they are not well. I graduated from Eastern College in 2016. I wanted to be a part of the Riverview Animal Hospital because it handles all different kinds of situations, and I knew that it would be a great place to help the patients, and to learn and grow. My special area of interest is emergency surgery. My first pet was an 18-pound cat named Charlie. I love my job because all the animals I see every day and the gratification of helping those who need it. My favourite thing about the clinic is everyone is so passionate and caring! It makes for a wonderful atmosphere. Fun fact about myself I used to have bunnies as a little girl! Four boys named Princess, Belle, Bambi, and Thumper.
