Christina Burgoyne
Veterinary Assistant
My name is Christina and I am a Veterinary Assistant at the Riverview Animal Hospital.
From a young age I have always had a strong passion towards animals and knew that I wanted to work with them. My first pet was a Dachshund named Ginger who eventually developed spinal issues. This led to me developing an interest in genetics and animal medicine. Since then, I have attended the University of Prince Edward Island earning my degree in biology, specialization in life sciences in 2022. I then joined the team at Riverview Animal Hospital as an assistant in order to gain more animal experience and knowledge.
While my goal is to be a Veterinarian, I am open to exploring different options as long as it to help animals.
A fun fact about me is that I love to be outside and am often found taking pictures of the wildlife I encounter on my walks. I also own another Dachshund name Zoe, alongside my various fishes Finnigan, Whoop, and Blupee.
